First Aid Refresher [ HLTFA301B ]

This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualties, the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance.

Entry Requirements: There are no entry requirements into this qualification. However, students must bring in their current first aid certificate prior to entry.

Course Structure: Students attend a 1 day face-to-face practical component including assessment. A First Aid course is valid for 3 years and should be renewed before the expiry date.  

Outcome: This unit of competency is nationally recognised and can only be delivered by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that complies with the governing standards of quality training and assessment. On successful completion of the course assessments you will be awarded a HLTFA301B Apply First Aid

Delivery Mode:  1 day practical classroom training. Students must also bring in their current First Aid certificate.
