Certificate II in Hospitality [ SIT20307 ]
The Certificate II in Hospitality has been designed to provide the skills and knowledge for an individual in a range of activities and functions requiring basic operation knowledge and limited practical skills in a defined context. Roles would be undertaken in hospitality settings such as restaurants, hotels, motels, catering operations, clubs, pubs, cafes and coffee shops.

Entry Requirements: There are no entry requirements into this qualification.
Course Structure: The course consists of Twelve (12) units of competency comprising of SIX (6) core units and SIX (6) elective units. Skills4Jobs has developed a program that meets the requirements of the qualification, catering for both Food & Beverage Specialisation and a Non-Food & Beverage specialisation.

Outcome: The qualification is nationally recognised and can only be delivered by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that complies with the governing standards of quality training and assessment. On successful completion of the course assessments you will be awarded
Certificate II in Hospitality
Students who exit the training program without completing all assessments will be issued with a statement of attainment for those units in which they have demonstrated competency
Delivery Mode: Traineeship (NSW only) – this mode is delivered and assessed on the job over a period of 12 months full time
Fees: Traineeship – determined by employment status
Career Pathways: Students who successfully complete this qualification will have the option to continue their development and career path by enrolling in qualifications such as Certificate III in Hospitality SIT30207
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)/Credit Transfer: The learning objective for each unit will be explained prior to commencement. If you feel that you have enough evidence present to prove these skills (such as through other courses that you may have attended) to the required level please speak to your assessor about recognition of your prior learning/skills (also known as recognition of prior learning). If you have completed some units of this program previously through another training program then you may be able to gain credits for this and this may also shorten the requirements and the duration for achieving this qualification
