OHS General Induction (Green / White Card) [ CPCCOHS1001A ]

This unit of competency specifies the outcomes required to undertake OHS induction training within the construction industry. It requires the ability to demonstrate personal awareness of OHS legislative requirements and the basic principles of risk management and prevention of injury and illness in the construction industry.

Job Opportunities: General induction training is required for all persons:

  • Who carry out construction work, including site managers and supervisors, surveyors, labourers and trades people
  • Who access operational construction zones unaccompanied or not directly supervised by an inducted person
  • Whose employment causes them to routinely enter operational construction zones

Entry Requirements: There are no entry requirements into this qualification.

Course Structure: This unit is delivered over 1 day

Outcome: This unit of competency is nationally recognised and can only be delivered by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that complies with the governing standards of quality training and assessment. On successful completion of the course assessments you will be awarded a CPCCOHS1001A Work Safely in the Construction Industry PLUS a WorkCover General Induction (Green/White) Card
